Weston Longville (NTRO10464) Notice

 

In accordance with the provisions of Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Norfolk County Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing to replacement of a damaged aerial cable for safety reasons the use by vehicles (of any class) of the C464 Rectory Road from 470 metres east of its junction with Hockering Road for 400 metres eastwards (the “Road”) in the Parish of Weston Longville will be temporarily prohibited/restricted.


Alternative route is via: Rectory Road, B1535 Hockering Road/ Weston Green Road/ Sandy Lane, Frans Green, Wood Lane, Paddys Lane, Honingham Road (Hockering, Honingham, Weston Longville, East Tuddenham) The works promoter for this restriction/closure is: BT. The closure/restriction is necessary because of the likelihood of danger to the public or serious damage to the road or both.


The closure/restriction is anticipated to take place from 24 th to 25 th October 2025 but the Road may continue to be closed/restricted until the 13 th November 2025 where the closure/restriction is still required beyond the anticipated dates.


This Notice shall automatically revoke on the completion of the works / when the closure/restriction is no longer necessary or otherwise on the 13 th November 2025 without further notice.


If necessary, this Notice may be extended for an additional 21 days by further Notice and/or for a maximum of 18 months from the date this Notice is effective by further Order.

Norfolk County Council proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (the “Order” (NTRO6425a) affecting the Blind Lane from its junction with the A47 to its junction with Red Barn Lane (the “Road”) in the Parish of Honingham to facilitate National Highways improvement works, the Road will be temporarily closed (except for pedestrian access) for the duration of the works/period the closure is necessary which is anticipated to be from 4 th October 2025 to 10 th March 2027, but may
continue to be closed/restricted until the 3 rd April 2027 where the closure is still required beyond the anticipated dates.


Alternative route is via: A47, Church Lane, Red Barn Lane (Honingham, Easton). The works promoter for this restriction/closure is National Highways Vehicular access will be permitted to a final destination in the Road where signs indicating such access is possible and permitted are in place.


The Order shall automatically revoke on the completion of the works when the closure is no longer necessary or otherwise on the 3 rd April 2027 without further notice.


The Norfolk County Council (Honingham) (NTRO6425) Temporary Traffic Regulation
Order 2023 will be revoked from the date the Order is in effect (in force).

In accordance with the provisions of Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Norfolk County Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing to trial holes and bridge investigation works the use by vehicles (of any class) of the The Street from its junction with Colton Road for 100m westwards (the “Road”) in the Parish of Honingham will be temporarily prohibited/restricted. The closure/restriction is necessary or expedient because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.


The closure/restriction is anticipated to take place from 16th to 17th April 2025 but the Road may continue to be closed/restricted until the 20th April 2025 where the closure/restriction is still required beyond the anticipated dates.


This Notice shall be in effect from 16th to 20th April 2025 or until the closure/restriction no longer necessary, whichever is the earliest. This Notice shall automatically revoke on the completion of the works when the closure/restriction is no longer necessary or otherwise on the 20th April 2025
without further notice. If necessary, this Notice may be extended for a maximum of 18 months from the date this Notice is effective by an Order. Alternative route is via: The Street, Dereham Road, Berrys Lane, Mattishall Road, Norwich Road (Honingham, East Tuddenham). The works promoter for this restriction/closure is: Norfolk County Council.
