Documents
On 1 April 2015 the government introduced the Transparency Code. This applies to all small local councils with a turnover of less than £25,000 a year, which applies to Honingham. The Transparency Code aims to give local electors the information about the Parish Council which they will find useful and to hold the Parish Council to account. The Transparency Code details certain information which the Parish Council must provide online, you will find that information on this page. This page is regularly updated so if you are interested in any information not currently available on this page please contact the Parish Clerk.

Finance
The accounting year of all councils starts on 1st April and finishes on 31st March. Local councils levy an annual precept charge, which is collected by Broadland District Council through Council Tax. The Parish Council utilises the precept to help it run the services we provide to the benefit of the village. The precept is set each December for the following financial year. For 2019-20 the Parish Council set the precept at £8500.
